Roof permits in Navarre

Navarre is unincorporated, so there is no city building department — roof permits are issued by Santa Rosa County. Navarre Beach, on the barrier island, is also Santa Rosa County and can carry additional coastal review. We handle the county permit and inspections under our Florida licenses.

Navarre sits between Pensacola Bay and Choctawhatchee Bay with little to slow wind coming off the Gulf and the Sound, and the area has seen major damage in storms such as Ivan (2004) and Sally (2020). When a storm comes through, we triage by active leaks, tarp or dry-in, and keep a photo record for each roof plane we touch.
